Q for those of you with S4 to S5 Swaps

This question is for those of you who have done a s4 na to s5 t2 swap. Which transmission crossmember/bracket did you used?

another Q, can I use my n/a n326 radiator with a T2?

VA 2 things...

as long as you have a manual transmission unibody, the transmissions are interchangeable.

as far as radiators, same dimensions/core specs but you may not have a cap on the top endtank.

as long as you have one pressure cap in the system with an overflow bleed off, you should be fine.

you use the bracket from the transmission your using.

so if your using an S5 transmission you will need an S5 bracket and you'll need an S4 bracket if your using the S4 transmission.

Yes, there the same bracket, but the mounting holes to the chassis is a tad more further forward or back. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...gs+the+same%3F Has the same question. But you can make it work, or see how much the dealership wants for it. Click the link.

in other words, as long as you have the bracket for whatever respective manual transmission, it will line up...

one more thing, there is a difference between s4 and s5 brackets...

it has to do with where the rubber mounts bolt to the bracket cross member, not the 4 holes for the unibody bolts...
