I've only seen this done to fd's with the s2000 push start button. And u still need the key to turn the ignition on and then u hit the button. But I would love to see this done to a fC since I own one

I picked up a complete upper steering column for an FB complete with ignition switch complete
with 2 spare keys for $15 bucks from a wrecking yard.
I imagine you can do this with an FC wreck too.

To bypass the ignition switch you would need switch to pass voltage from the Black ignition wire to the starter wire, a switch for the IG1 and IG2 wires and a switch for the accessory wire. You could I guess group the IG1, IG2, and Acc wires together as one thus you would need two switches to wire in.

But remember, even after hot wiring the car, the column lock is still enabled.

if he is bypassing the stock ignition switch why wouldnt he just remove the column lock as not necessary. If you rip out the ignition the column will not lock I had a roller like this

This thread sounds like a scam. All your questions have been answered, if you can't figure it out from here take it to someone more experienced. I don't think we need to start discussing techniques to hot wire our cars.

You picked up an FC without a key, well you should of asked for the key before you picked it up. Go to the dealership and get a key made, IT IS your car right?

pretty sure you walked in there and they thought you were a joke. people get keys cut from the vin all the time. but you should have just bought a new ignition from on here. hell a lot of the times people part out a car and will sell you all the locks/keys for cheap
