Always puller.

Get the maximum flow. This generally means the Black Magic (?) fan from Summit. 1600cfm is (barely) adequate for an N/A and with a turbo you'll want more than that. The Summit fan is something like 2800cfm. There is no such thing as cooling system overkill!

(Plus by getting it from Summit you'll be helping my local economy )

You should always get a "puller" - much more efficient.
Do a search here for tips.
The Pontiac Fiero fan works great. And it can be had for about $30 from a wrecker.
Supposedly a Ford Taurus, Ford Escort, or Mtsubishi Starion will also work well.

Fiero fans are supposed to be good too. But you need the schroud to control the airflow no schroud may result in overheating in some applications.
