Purchased C's short shifter...Weighted shift knob suggestions?

Jack...just because you found a deal (and a great one) does not mean it is indicative of the median pricing of all short shifters.
I bought an FD with a mint black interior for $500. I paid $500 for my 'vert as well...not running with a low mile Petitt SP...another great deal that took $100 to get running. Great deals? Yes.
However I don't tell people who spent $10,000 or $15,000 or more on their FD purchase that they overpaid. I found a great deal and I know it. I paid $8000 for my other FD and thought that was a good price =).
We will also have to agree to disagree as a knock off does not always have the same tolerances or quality as a name. Generally you get what you pay for although I will be the first to admit there is overpriced crap out there as well.
While the economy sucks and many people are parting out their cars to make a few extra bucks...most "name" short shifters are still going for $100 - $140 in the FS section. Once again...you got a great deal that I envy but at least acknowledge it was a deal...especially for a few years back. =)

Ya,C's has a "wild thread pattern" on the shifter,
Mine was a Bit Bigger than the S4,and I wanted to use the S5 Threaded shifter *****.So I went and had it Machined to fit that Thread pattern.
That Blox **** is real nicely weighted,and the Thing about a Short shifter is that IF you use a Weighted **** on it,it will give you good throw action,smooth shifts etc.

My Aluminum MOMO **** gets pretty hot when the car is sitting in the sun. I will shoot a temp on it when I get home this afternoon just for grins. Today is going to be remarkably cool-95* for the high.
Last week when it was 108* I felt like the bespectacled **** thug in Raiders of the Lost Ark when he grabbed the medallion from the fire...

Oh you lowlanders and your high temps, try mid-nineties and a mile less atmosphere and you'll experience caliente.
I made this subfloor for the swap car...
...out of 1/4" ABS.
Four hours in direct sunlight, not yet covered with carpet, and the piece warped like a potato chip.
The auxiliary gauges atop my dash are mounted with bits of adhesive backed Velcro- the black gauge housings absorbed so much heat that the adhesive melted/ran and the Velcro patches slid off.
Sometimes it ain't the heat or the humidity, it's the UV that'll git ya.

The two things that always strike me is
1.)how comfortable high temperatures are at altitude due to the low humidity
2.) how the flesh will snap, crackle and pop with exposure to the high UV levels.

S5 = 10mm x 1.25
(second time I've posted that today)
So, if you have an S5 **** on an S4 shifter, you need to make the hole in the **** bigger and match the thread pitch.
An S4 **** on an S5 shifter would require an adapter to make the shaft diameter large enough to accommodate the ****. They do exist, I've seen them sold with ***** but never on their own.
I suppose you could fill the **** with some kind of epoxy and just stick it on there.
Most likely, you'll have an S5 **** and an S5 shifter and it won't be a problem.

Shifter came in yesterday, it's an s4 threaded shifter. My shift **** only came with m10x1.25 and m12x1.25 nuts. Went to Lowes and Advance Auto Parts and neither of them had an m12x1.5 nut, smh. Bout to try NAPA when they open this morning.
Shifts take a little more force at the moment but it feels very precise.
