Pulsation Damper Q.
Mine went bad in my '86 just a few months ago at 140k miles. Actually, I think iit was just that the screw came loose. After reading on this forum, I decided to bypass the PD and replace it with a banjo bolt. I wasn't able to find a banjo bolt with the right thread at any local parts stores. I went to a specialty bolt and fastener shop and they didn't have them either. The guy that ran the place suggested that I make my own. He gave me a couple of bolts, I spent 1/2 hr at the drill press and bench grinder, and 5k miles later I have no problems.

Because I thought I can just replace my PD with a brand new one and be done with that until the next 10 years or 100K miles...
