Pulsation Damper

Ok, finished bolting in my injectors, new gaskets and metering pump hoses. First and foremost should I be worried about my Puslation Damper? When I dissasembled the UIM, LIM and all related components, I noticed the Pulsation damper was leaking and the screw was rolling around in the cap. I proceeded to put the screw back in with some locktite, and I cannot budge the screw with a screwdriver anymore.

Will it be ok? Or should I dole out some cash on some pretty AN lines and a FPR to totaly eliminate this problem?

Do not run the car!!!!

The screw depth on the PD can only be set under pressure and a test bench.

Just putting the screw back in pretty much guarantees that the PD will fail.

If you screwed the screw in too far you will rip the membrane and the PD membrane will not move enough to absorb the pulses from the injectors.

If you didn't screw the screw in far enough, then the membrane can flex too much and will rip.

Order a new PD and replace your old one ASAP!
