pulling steering wheel

hello all,

I might be pulling my steering wheel soon and am wondering if there are any special things/tips I should know - unique to the rx-7 .

Use a rubber hammer and tap every side one after the other.

That what I do and never had problems.

leave the nut on like 2 threads, and pull, shake, jiggle, whatever on the steering wheel untill it comes loose. then remove the nut completely and pull the steering wheel the rest of the way off.

well i know that when i got an after market steering wheel i had to take out the little thing that clicked off the turn signal cuz the hub didn't wanna fit right with it on.

WTF?? i just pulled my steering wheel 5 minutes ago, i'm 6'3 150lbs, no helmet needed no lifting weights, go take the 3 screws off that hold on the front horn button , take a socket and ratchet loosen the big nut, take it almost all the way off then pull, it should take a good 3 -4 strong pulls and it'll pop right out, i've done it like 5-6 times now. the the nut off and poof steering wheel has been removed

6'3 200lbs ftw (197lb weight class)
