pulling no codes, car sounds like a subaru

Hey guys, just a couple questions. I finally got around to making my code checker today after owning my car for 5 years. I'm trying to diagnose an odd problem that I posted the other day. I found the cause of a hard start/ bucking problem to be a snapped electrode on one of my plugs, I replaced the plugs and wires and the car feels fine BUT, She has developed an odd sound in the low rpm range, kind of a rythmic puttering? Sounds kind of like an uncorked subaru. The car has perfect power after about 3k but it seems a little weak while "puttering". My questions are, I notice there is no code for a leading coil? Is this because a leading coil failure would be so obvious as to render useless a code? What are leading coil failure symptoms? Could this possibly be caused by a faulty or clogged injector improperly atomizing its fuel? I have to imagine that it is one of these two things, and I sincerely doubt it would be the coil, however questions don't hurt. In addition, as per my last post, keep in mind that my Ports are opening while I blip the throttle from the engine bay (no load) this should not be. Also, the car has become difficult to start, she used to start right up, now she seems to take forever as well as bordering on flooding. Could this starting problem lend itself towards an arguement for bad injector? Any opinions would be appreciated and I thank you in advance.

do you have this puttering when your on the throttle just a little?
I just re adjusted my TPS but I think it's bad and now I have that puttering when I'm using about 10% of the throttle and the car is not smooth like that.. so my TPS is mis adjusted or just bad..
so, if your problem is like that, check the tps!

I'm with Compubob, check the TPS. If that doesn't seem to help the next would be grounds.

nah, neither of those. I have been through almost every problem you could possibly have with an rx7, subsequently, my grounds have all been re-done from the ECU as well as adding a ground wire kit to the engine bay. In addition, I checked the TPS today again and it was barely off from last time I tuned it (1.098 ohms). I turned it down a little but to no avail. This problem is not one of the more common ones I dont think. Has anyone had a coil or primary injector failure before? What are their respective symptoms?

Could very well be injector(s). Runs crappy at idle and low speeds/accel, likes to buck down low, seems to run fine at higher revs. Yep...

Try swapping the secondaries with the primaries, if you have no "spares"...
