Pulling HVAC/Blower motor. Stupid question.

Okay, so I have absolutely no reason to keep AC/Heat in my car. I'm pulling everything. But from the blower motor, it's one hose leading into the block and one leading into bottom of the radiator core. Can the line going into the block be capped off? I already pulled the heater and those two lines going through the firewall were capped off.

Also, I won't have any problems pulling out all the wiring right?

Thanks for any help.

Sure, you can block off the water feed(s).
If you're already down to the heater core, you've already done the hard electrical part- removing the Logicon. The rest is a fairly discrete harness that goes from the Logicon's fan switch to the blower motor/relays...it's self-explanatory.

Pics attached. I figured the wiring going from all the HVAC stuff would not interfere with anything else in the system but I just wanted to be 100% sure. And yes, the logicon was a bitch to seperate. Did that weeks ago and now I am getting around to what you see in the pictures. I did not even plan on pulling it but once I pulled the dash to rewire for my gauges into the center of the dash, it would have been a pain in the *** to do with the blower motor sitting right in the middle of it all. And honestly, I won't be driving the car in rain or above 80F.

And the giant cluster of wires you see, that is all for the keyless entry/security system that I don't even have a key fob for. That is going bye bye. Hopefully I can find a better spot to wire up my turbo timer. I don't like where it is right now which is directly under the steering wheel. Maybe I can attach it to the dash or something.

Anyways, thanks.

I thought I didn't want either too, but fog is a b*tch. You'll probably want an aftermarket heater core in there(if not the stock one) for rainy days and fog. I believe Jegs makes a small unit that is made for this purpose.

Yeah, I know fog will be a pain, but I don't plan to ever drive it in rainy or even a cloudy day. I refuse to drive it in winter unless it is immaculate outside and I won't drive it at all in July or August. So everything is going.

But I may look into a heater core. It would be nice to have a little backup just in case of overheating.

No, but it has glass on the sides and front and back. And yes, I already planned on having some Rain-X just for emergencies.

So, uh, practically everything is pulled. I'm "cleaning" the dash, but wondering if I really need the harness that is attached to the dash. Yes, I'm wanting to gut EVERYTHING HVAC related. Picture attached.

Ignore the 2nd picture.

Oh damn that inside plastic color is gross.
I pulled the skeleton off mine when it had it out and sanded and repainted it.
Don't you need the rest of that harness for other things?
But I think there's some grounds attached tour so you'd need to make sure to re wire those if you get rid of it.

Yeah, I'm thinking of just keeping that entire harness attached just in case. I can easily just plug all my gauge wiring back up, turbo timer, and boost controller and fire it up and see what happens before I put the dash back in.

The only ground I ran into was for speakers which won't be used at all.
