Pulley and voltmeter

I just got my dual alternator belt pulley and main shaft or eccentrial shaft pulley install, although i mess it up by no following the step correctly. my mechanic fix it. my question is, is it normal for my car to mark 12 volt at the voltmeter?

Alternators should read above 14v. Otherwise you're not really maintaining your battery.

VOLTAGE TEST
Engine running, headlights & heater fan on high:
Alternator post to alternator frame = 14-14.5 volts (verifies the alternator output)
alternator post to battery (+) = 0 volts (verifies the primary + wire)
alternator frame to battery (-) = 0 volts (verifies the primary ground)
Turn off the motor, but leave the lights on.
Battery (+) to battery (-) = ~12.5 volts and holds steady. (verifies battery)

Well, i'm gonna be playing with the idle setter, cuz my idle is at 300-500 rpm for some reason, i'll increase it to 1krpm or 1.3 krpm

See, i will say it for the last time, i have aftermarket pulley for both the altenator and the eccentric shaft. My voltmeter read use 12 at stop and while driving 13 and something during the day. but during the night it reads 12 and then drops to 8 cuz the idle is at 300 rpm, so will increase it to 1 or 1.2 and i know the stock idle is at 750 but it will not help.

Is the Eccentric shaft pulley the same as stock diameter? If it is one designed for racing, you are slowing the alternator down; which means it DOES NOT FUNCTION to stock specifications. ie Wont charge at idle.

That is why I sell the STOCK Diameter Alt. Pulley, so that your alt functions as designed for street use
