Cool Proper way to drain the gas tank?

thinking about to remove the old gas, and I have done it few times already via drain plug to a bucket.

when reading some posts in teamfc3s forum, I am bit of hesitated to do it this time via drain plug, cuz the static electric stuff. I don't want boom, or any firework, or firetrucks to come over. :-(

so, what is the safest to do it yourself?

I have seen those junkyard guys just chop a hole in the gas tank, and that is it. that was kind of fun to watch.

thanks

All you have to do is ground yourself before you touch the tank again, touch the side of the car as you get ready to go under it. There isnt really a better way to drain it unless you are taking off the trunk.

It's not that big of a deal. Just pull the drain plug.
