Ok, I really appreciate the answers Guys!!!
Since there are no J-Spec N/A's....
Where Can I pick up a J-Spec For my 10th Ann. ????
I'm slowly but surely, losing the engine in my 10th Ann.
I will be ready for another engine in about 10k miles....
Thanks again guys!!!!

They usually cost around $750-$900. Make sure you get the right series of motor from them. Tell them you need one with a mechanical OMP. That should get you a correct motor. I know of more than 30 people that have gotten them from there, and they have all been good with no blown motors or DOA's

OOppss, I must have transposed a number somewhere. I'll check tomorrow and Pm you with the right number.
Alternatively, call 411 information. They are located in Sacramento.

You can't beat Mazda remanufactured engines, I'd seriously go with them if you wanted to keep the car n/a. $2000, but it's the best remanufactured engine you can get. I have one with ~40k on the clock and I'm convinced that it's gonna last another 150k, at least.
However, since your engine is busted, why not upgrade?
I hear the swap to a Turbo II drivetrain isn't incredibly difficult for the '89-'91's. The impression that I have is that everything bolts right in.
www.corksport.com has used Jap spec engines for the '89-'91's at about $950. I think that includes the ECU, turbo, intercooler and everything you need to run it. All you need to track down is the tranny back to the halfshafts.
If you don't mind doing some research I'm sure you could do the swap for about the same price as a good remanufactured n/a engine.
That's what I'd do.

And if you have an automatic, you can just bolt the TII motor right up to it... no problem. (I personally hate automatics, but nobody has mentioned this...)
To change a 89+ to a turbo, you need to change the ECU and the engine wiring harness- no issues with the dash harness like there are on the earlier cars.

From what I understand the four port turbo engine will bolt up to the n/a five speed as well. The only thing I would be concerned with are the syncros, otherwise I'm sure it could hold a decent amount of power before something broke.
