Project getting very close to completion

Well, it seems like everything is finnally comming together. My parts list is almost complete. I've managed to aquire the following:

Re-built S5 13BT Ported w/ 3mm apex seals
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Aeromotive FPR
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
HKS EVC IV Boost Controller
TDO7 25G Turbo
Greddy Turbo Manifold
Greddy 47mm Type R External Wastegate
Greddy 2 Row Spec V FMIC
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve
Haltech E6K

Still need to get my injectors, ignition components and upgrade my rad and fan.

I'm trying to get approx 400 - 450 RWHP. What do u guys think, doable?
Also, I know I'll need 1600cc secondaries, but should I upgrade the primaries, and will the one fuel pump be enough? My mechanic told me that I should get new wires for my ignition and I was wondering if I'll need an MSD box as well, I've been doing some searching and the general concensus seems to be that its not worth it.

Anyone want to add their 2 cents?

Get an ignition box for sure. You don't have to go over board with an expensive one, and it will really help out with break up in high rpms. It will also give a noticable power increase at those power levels.

I would think that you would want 720-850 primaries.

Sounds like it will be fast. Just keep in mind the the amount of stress you are putting on the engine at those levels and if you engine was modified to handle it when built (dowel pinning the engine, 3 window berrings, est). Also, I hope you have the money to upgrade the cooling system because you could lose a big investment fast if it is not up to par.

Good luck!
Steve

Well, lets see.......
engine - $5890
Clutch, BOV, FMIC - $2275
Turbo, Wastegate, Manifold - $1500 (used)
Haltech E6K - $1100 (used)
FPR, 3" DP, 3" MP, 2.5" y-pipe, intake - $2700
Boost Controller - $700
Plus some misc stuff here and there........I'd say about $15,000 and thats not including the cost of the car which was - $8000. HOLY ****....thats a lot of money! The only thing that has helped a lot is the fact that I have a friend with a parts shop, so he is helping me out with prices.

As far as the cooling system, I'm looking at a fluidyne aluminium Rad and electric fan. Is there anything else I can do to the cooling system to help keep the temp. down??

And finnally, I'll post pics when I get the chance, most of this stuff isn't installed yet.

LOL, yes we all just LOVE to waste money on overprice parts, like the so-called "lambo door" kit. I mean if somebody's mom gives them $900 for door hinges then hey more power to ya. Don't spend all your barmitsfa money in one place "fromcal"
