btw peeps are talking that im doing madd mods before paint, ehh i just put in suspension, and ordered a exhaust, that dont seem like major mods, them seem just as important as brakes.. and i dont even have a ported engine soo i dont see why peeps seems to think i think that peeeps will just see my tail lights???, and jeeez im 16 if your all want me to paint it that bad gimme paint or money jeez, itz hard enough to have money for fuel these days with regualr being 2.60 a gallon!!!
Girls love the rx7's, drove by a bench full of them last night with the top down and they all scream I want you car oooooo, gave one of them for a ride and that was it though
no code of the road.

Personally... I'd rather drive a car with any color besides light grey primer. Even dark grey, or black primer would be better, but light grey... ehh. It's your car, no one can stop you, but all that makes it seem like is beater/ghetto style. I know you don't have money to paint, but if you hadn't gotten that subaru/laptop/exhaust/suspension you could have
I know those things were more important to you, and obviously that's why you did it. Just paint it eventually, don't "rock" your FC like that forever.
And for the record on the GF thing. My car has alright paint, not perfect but not bad in any way, it has a clean black interior with brand new carpet, etc... And she makes me bring the rx8 every time we go anywhere rather than the rx7
She just prefers it, she's really not a huge fan of 7's in general heh.

My girlfriend loved my FC to begin with. Then she wanted me to buy a Mustang. I almost did. But I love my car (now 2 FC's..) to death annnddd, well. Long story short, I dumped that girlfriend. Now to find someone who likes FC's...not very hard.
hey lets give dustin a early christmas gift lets all donate a dollar or two so he can get a paint job he deserves it, lets see if a moderator can start a fund for this guy and just give a buck, as soon as it is started i will drop my dollar in seriously no joke lets help each other out

beat up clunker/corporate meeting...hmm... Janitor??? seriously though. If my car was my daily driver, I woulda had the body work done, before any performance mods...
Sorry I was out of it fore a while. Now I should have you over and do engine building for me. It seems like you have enough experience for it. I agree with the younger mentality of the paint. If I was your age I'd do it the way you have. As a man that has driven shitty looking cars for eight years. I never owned a car that cost more than $500 until I bought the truck. I was to the point of being embarrassed to work in some of the places I work at. I was doing a lot of work in million dollar homes. It was embarassing to pull up in a loud rusted ugly 1984 F-150. Having a nice looking vehicle is getting more important to me. The First FC I had had terrible paint, but it was at least one color, so it wasn't too bad. The new one I'm working on looks nearly perfect. It's what under the hood that counts. I'd still rather have an ugly-*** beater that was mechanically perfect than to have a beautiful looking car that I wasn't sure if it wold make it without breaking down.
Good luck not tearing it apart again Dustin.
