Car is now intercooled; npr fmic and we're up to 20psi on a pump gas with a 500cc post compressor 50/50 meth/water jet. It was 38C out last night, and intake temps start @ 38C and doing a complete 4th gear pull to redline the intake temps end at 40C. Time for the pre compressor jet. It also needs more spark; time for msd coils.

I also have one of Turblown's new lim heatshields now..

Since the LIM shield looks SO GOOD, I embedded it!

I am try to do some back-to-back data logs of the difference between AITs before and after the Turblown LIM shield. Having some software issues, but should be able to do the comparison.

Can't wait for the pre-comp jet! And the blaster2 coils!!!

I am having BOV issues unfortunately; It's leaking, so I need to find a HKS or knock off to replace my broken one.

Thanks,

I got the Blaster2s installed, but there are some troubleshooting issues we are trying to figure out. Hopefully, it'll be squared away in time for some tuning tonight!!

unless you have a 3 rotor, they only cost $250... even then, the 3 rotor shield is $300.
Do you want 2 of them???

Front wheels are off a 93-ish Protoge... you want them? I have all 4.
I can't wait to get the BBSs mounted up front!!!

Good news is the Blasters are working fine now!!! One of the plug wires was damaged.
Now with the stronger spark, I have to go re-tune. It's going lean in boost.

If they come with tires, for sure. What width are they?

I think they are 215 or 225s... don't remember exactly. I'll check when I see my car tonight.
Two of the tires are completely bald. The two on my car have like 30% left... PM me if you want them.

just sold them locally. I had a post in the FS section for about a month. They were pretty decent too.

My bad 87 T-66, I just re-read your post and noticed you were specific...
i would love to get them for my FC's
Just buy one at a time...
Seriously, I'd think that your 380hp T2 would see far more benefit from a after market shield...

What turbo are you running on the vert?

now that the Blasters are installed, there is a little bump in the road. The ignition feels like it cuts around 4200 RPM. My suspicion is the old plug wires. They are pretty bad.

Anyone else switch to Blasters2 and a 6a with similar issues?

Appears it might be just a spark plug issue. Those stock 9s suck at high boost...

Ignition breakup appears fixed, simple as plug wires...

I believe it's an NPR intercooler. I am a fan, the outlets are in a great location.

If you mounted it like most FMICs (right up against the bumper) you probably wouldn't have to modify the IC or the body, but to mount it like stylEmon did (in front of the radiator), you'd have to modify the body a little to get the inlet/outlet to pass through.

I've never done it though, so I could be totally wrong.

I'm after a setup identical to his as I want the intercooler to be unseen from the front of the car so I can go for some well smooth looks and get a good power output with a stable setup.
