problems when shifting

im not sure what exactly the problem is but it just started recently. when i shift from 1st to second, the rpm usually drops about 500rpm, but recently when i shift from 1st to second, instead of dropping when i step on the gas the rise about 2-300 rpm before it drops to the usual rpm. it happens when im shifting to 2nd to 3rd too. im not sure if it's my driving or if there's something wrong with my car.

My first answer would've been the clutch is done as well. My car was my first ever standard car and I drove it well but I never had any problems untill a year and a half later when I let one of my friends drive it :-P (who was learning to drive stick)

That's what my clutch was doing shorlty before rotorfest last year.
Within a week it was so far gone you could barely drive it.
Got a street/strip clutch from mazdatrix, working great since.

i drove it a few more times and paid more attention to the rpm and my shifting and found out the problem isn't my shifiting. the same problem still happen even afta i shift gears. for example, from 2nd to 3rd gear the rpm drops 500rpm like usual, but when i step on the gas the rpm would rise for about 2-300rpm and then drop before i get any power. it's like the car was in neutral for a second.
