problems starting
this happens everytime whether the car is cold or has warmed up.
i turn the key and the engine starts. after about a second the idle gets rough and the car dies. then i turn the key again and it starts up perfiectly fine, nice and smooth.
it takes me 2 tries EVERYTIME i want to start the car. at first i didnt mind but it gets kinda irrataing after a while. im planning to change the starter soon but i dont know if thatll fix the prob.
any other ideas on what it could be????

sounds like what happened to me with my FB. It turned out to be the fuel pump. It would not work intermittently like that. As soon as I replaced it, problem gone. Unfortunately that was $220 of diagnostic work later.

I'm thinking it's the fuel pump.
As I recall the fuel pump operates in two different voltages one for starting and wot a lesser for idle and city driving. But I've been wrong before.
P. S. change the fuel filter too, when a pump goes it plugs the filter(or at least it did on mine).
