Ok, Its an 87 TII with lots of mods, and an s5 jspec motor. Everything has worked fine since i got it all together, I have had some minor problems, but just normal stuff, not too many problems, bad tps, little crap like that. The other day i ran out of gas (due to bad guage pod) and it probably ran a little lean for a sec, but i was sitting still and warming the car up so it was no biggie. I checked compression anyway, it was fine. I then had to go back to school for the first of the week, and when i came back my car was dead. It would turn over, but real slow, so i tried to jumpstart the car. I hooked everything up right and it was turning over fine but then someone said they saw smoke coming from where the electric fan is, down in the front of the air dam??? I dont know what that could be, any ideas? So we unhooked it real quick and I just charged the battery last night. I put it back in the car this morning, it turned over fine, but wasnt hitting. I busted out the timing light, and no fire on either coil pack. I have no idea what it could be, any ideas???? please help, anything would be appreciated.
