Problems after replacing injector grommets
1990 GX N/A
Emmissions removed. BAC intact minus coolant lines.
so my rebuild had been running weird lately. I found a vacuum leak on top of the housings which I determined to be the old injector grommets.
anyhoo, I got the new grommets in today. got home from work. took off the throttles body and dynamic chamber as a piece, and then the upper and lower intake mans.
I installed the new grommets, and removed the 6pi sleeves while I was down there since im not using the system anyways...
anyways, long story short. I get it all back together and go to start it. I start it in gear to eliminate the AWS... oddly it revvs very quickly up to 3500 rpm. weird. I unplugged the bac and it didnt go as high but still revved quickly on startup.
bascially, it wont stay goin below like 2 grand, ive got to hold hold the pedal down fairly heavy. it seems to be running a bit rougher and the exhaust is popping a lot.
it may just be because I have the hood open, but its making a big swooshing sound. could this be due to a new giant vacuum leak somewhere?
help me out guys :P
