Problem with Fc!!! ; ;

about a week ago i was driving and i took off sorta fast but didnt launch crazy. but i hit a stop light then when i started to go i hit gas down and car didnt accelerate or rev rpms started going down then it started to go and it was like jumpin back and forth and bov was going PSHHH PSHH PSHHH then i put in 3rd and it was ok for a sec then it started doing it again....i drove it home and didnt drive it for a day or two then i drove it and it drove pretty fine but did it a few times still then yesterday and today i was drivign and its doing it some again. i checked everything i could think of(which isnt a whole lot but hella i try but ya any suggestions would be cool thx everyone

mileage on the engine? sounds like you might have blown a seal and the car went into limp mode

hmm i fuken hope not lol it has a rebuild with about 60-65k miles on it.

lol ben ya man im supposed to be hopefully getting a job this week if nto imma be mad....cause i wanna get just a full tune up...and do u think it could be like wut that guy said....a blown seal? well lmk.

blown seals are not intermittent so if it drives ok part of the time then i wouldn't worry about an internal problem with the engine.

hmm idk i only put plus and premium and i put some chevron with techron but i not sure if that was before or after >_> im almost on e again so once i fill up some more ill go back to the ampm gas and see wut happens. ben wut woul dbe best time for me to come by

Bad gas means water or other contaminants in the gas. That can happen with any gas if the gasoline station underground storage tanks are old or faulty.

check your BAC harness. I had close to the same problem, there was a crack in the wire insulation and it was grounding out on a bracket.

i had a shop rebuild my last motor well needless to say 1,700 miles later (POP) so 60-65k is way better than mine lol (crying) but now KARACK is going to build mine so i can hit 2,000 miles before it pops hahah just kidding ben

haha cosmo were u the one i saw at his shop with the blue or silver or whatver? well anyways ya i hope its not blown i can not afford rebuild at ALL right now and i got this for transportation haha i hoping to find a lil pos civic or mazda 626 or anything good on gas for a dd.
