Why did you decide to keep the auto tranny? Also, no aero mirrors?

the mirrors are the standard JDM S4 items.. there are the same on the aussie S4 and S5 too, 'vert ot not.

The auto is due to me having a badly broken wrist nearly 4 years ago, that hasent and wont heal.
The standard auto although very tied isent too bad,it is by no means slow, but you loose alot of that "driving spirt" I cant wait to get the rebuilt auto in and the high stall converter.

You should throw in an Electric Fan while you're at it to get rid of what little engine-bay clutter there is. Also, that snorkel isn't doing any good w/o the airbox, and w/ that much space between it and the filter.

Very very clean though! Wonderful example of a Savannah RX-7

Alright questions.......

Why did you go with the micotech? How does it perform?

What are you putting at the wheel?

Was it diffiult putting the TII engine with turbo and did you have to cut the frame?

What size injectors are you running?

Did you use the stock manifold?

Do you have pics of the subwoofer box?

Are there too many questions? :-)

An E-fan is on the list as too(ecu controlled) is a eletric water pump setup, but way down the list.
The snorkel will be comming off ASAP ive only just got the pod on there and just havent gotten around to removing it. Ive still got to add on parts so me BOV will plumb back.

Microtech offer the best value for money ECU around, they have everything you need in them. i fully installed and tuned it myself (will be dyno tuned when the new auto is in). before i had any mod's with just the microtech fitted, i found the car to have a little more power (unexpected) and fuel economy was improved (expected).
The car is quicker than i thought it would be, but i would hate to guess its power, if i get 270hp+ at the wheels i will be happy. Most other cars around here with the same type of setup make betwwen 270 and 300 at the wheels. Ii'm assumeing the auto will sap more than a 5 seed though

As the other guys pointed it out it is a factory turbo. This means it has the turbo rear end too. the inlet manifols is STD S4 and the turbo manifold is a S5 item as the turbo is a mix of s4/s5 with a to4 front wheel.

the injectors are stock, but recently cleaned, no doubt they will be on there upper limits when the car is dyno'ed, if its to close to leaning out i will increse the the fuel pressure (aftermarket reg) before changing the injectors. I'm also running the std fuel pump but it is rewired to see 13.8 volts constanly. The injectors should outflow the fuel pump in theory

heres the sub and amps and some older shots..

and the engine bay when i 1st got it

Nice detailed pics..

With the use of the LT8, why are keeping the stock sensors In place? Get them out of there!

the std alt is working fine with the oddessy battery and all my add on's, i think it will cope with even more load from a EWP and E-fans as they are other very efficent power wise. if not i would go for a S5 alt as the FD ones are hard to get over here.

theres a bit of a story to the blue.. the short version is they were already badly painted in a silver when I bought the car and i had to replace one of the panels. That ment I had to paint all those parts so they would match each other.
I choose the blue as i had it already again it is a work in progress, the blue will become more of a theme with time rather than just a few "odd" bits as it is now, i dont expect every one to like it, but its my thing i guess

the pressure sensor is there so my factory boost gauge works, the one next to it is for the auto (cuts out the lock up convertor) and is needed until the rebuilt auto goes in.

LOL thanks, we never got them here either, it is only recently we can import them under a 15 year old rule we have.
Being the JDM version it has even less stuff in it than normal 'verts and the car dosent really feel as heavy as people would lead you to think.
I really want to get it onto a weightbridge one day.

thanks i will take some pics when the new BOV goes on soon. my factory one is leaking above 10 PSI so i got a simple but good quality plumb back type to replace it with.
