What model? What accessories if any? Keep in mind, some people may shy away from it as it will need to be broken in.

What model? Base or Sport, GXL?

If everything is clean, you can easily get $2800-3400 for it.

TII? Hmm, with 0 miles, and a nice clean straight body with good interior, I'd pay anywhere from $3-4,000

Its a T2 with a NA engine??? With the wrong motor, maybe $1000.

But if it is a T2 with a 13BT, then $3000.

why would you even bother replacing a TII motor with an N/A?...besides, why would rotary resurrection do that? unless you told them you wanted it like that...

As far as I know Kevin doesnt charge anymore for a turbo rebuild than a N/A rebuild, so i was just wondering why you did this?? And as for value, Id say $1500 , it is a newly rebuild engine, with a good body. If you kept it a turbo you could be looking at $4k.

I do, slightly. 1) the turbo gasket kit is more than the NA version, so I charge $200 more. 2) if your s4 NA needs a rotor and housing, I give it to you free for your business. If your t2 or s5 needs a set, I have to charge for it, due to lack of availability as cores. So, his cost would have been $2-400 higher. Plus, I believe he did not want to ship his core up front, which I would have required since t2 engines are largely out of stock as far as cores.

Basically he called me asking what would have to be done to make it work, and I told him basically the engine with manifolds, wiring, ecu, etc. He said that is what he wanted, so I built it.

In fact, the deal we made was that he was to return his t2 core along with wiring and ecu as part of the trade we worked out. However, as yet he has not done so(2 months and counting...).

Black87rx7, if you're reading this, please contact me about the engine...I need this core, and you agreed to ship it back to me.

Man, you ruined a good car. Saving a few bucks on the engine cost you thousands on the re-sale value of your car.......
