Pressure testing for oil leaks?

Has anyone done this? What if I used an air compressor and fittings with some fuel hose to slightly pressurize the crankcase through the the oil filler ventilation port? Wouldn't that allow me to see small and hard-to-find oil leaks, just like with a coolant leak or boost leak tester? Of course the biggest concern to me would be over pressurizing and blowing something out, but that risk is also there with a coolant test.

Car is 88 t2. I've got a really, really slow drip that I'm having trouble finding. I can let the car idle for 20 minutes and not a drop will hit the ground, but if I leave it overnight I always see a little bit. I suspect I may not have put enough RTV around one or two of the oil pan bolts but I'm not sure.

an easier solution would probably be to buy some black light dye. put it in your crankcase, and after XXX miles, take a black light to it and it will glow.

I'd be concerned that the OMP would inject it and it would be burned up.

it's specifically designed to be used with engine oil. it's fine. just ask someone at a parts store about it.

Sounds lagit to me run that ****. Id pump it up to probably 10psi no more. i would think at 25psi on a fairly large turbo would produce about 10psi crankcase pressure. im just guessing though lol. im about to do mine.
