pressure sensor
.............is it necessary to have it connected, I dont have it connected the car seems to run find without it. What was the reason for having one, does anyone know?

In the S5 online FSM FUEL section, page FI-76 there is a chart showing what it effects. S4 is about the same animal.
It really effects the Lead and Trail timing the most. Also the fuel amount.
