Pressure Sensor

Hey Guys,

I've got a question, my APS (Pressure Sensor by the Strut Tower) broke so I've left it unplugged until I get the chance to get a new one...

My question is, what exactly does it control? Timing, etc?

I've been dealing with a random hesitation throughout the RPM Range, I'm thinking it has to do with grounding, but it's also unplugged due to the problem (the AP Sensor).

Now, after reading over the Camden Install Directions I saw that the Intake Manifold needed to be grounded out, so I took the loose ground (at the time the hesitation was from 3k rpm to about 6k rpm, after that it would HAULLL ***) and grounded it kind of ghetto to the UIM (because I couldnt find a proper bolt to fit) so now the hesitation is from 2-4k then at 4k to 5k it hauls, then hesitation from 5k-6k rpm its hesitating again, then 6-8k rpm it hauls *** again).

I've got a very good feeling it's a grounding problem, and I'm debating on buying a small grounding kit PRODUCT HERE (or an A'PEXi Grounding System) to see if that solves the problem, but what do you all think gurus?
