pressure in the radiator hose

i noticed after 15 minutes of leaving the car idle the water hose gets filled up with alot of pressure as if something is clogged i took off my thermostat to see whats up but it just builds up alot of pressure and leaks from the caps any ideas what it could be?

could this be from the water pump?

The cooling system is supposed to be under pressure when hot. If this pressure causes a leak, then it's getting too high and the radiator cap (which is designed to regulate the system pressure to 13psi) needs to be replaced.

If the water wasn't flowing, the car would overheat. If you don't have a tester, take it to a shop that can pressure test the cooling system. They'll pump it up and see if everything ok.

That's probably just caused by a bad seal around the sensor, not excessive pressure.
seems like the water isn't flowing
Why do you say that? As mentioned, no flow = overheating.

yeah i meant it as if it could be my waterpump but i guess i will have to take it to a shop cuz the water in the radiator flows but the water heading towards the thermostat just seems stuck there
