Exclamation preperation for engine swap

Hey guys hows it going...well as some of you may know, i'm switching out my S4 T2 engine into an S5 GTU. Now i already know i have to rewire every single thing in the S5. I'm getting ready to pull the motor on either tuesday or wednesday, what things should i have done to it by then to make the engine swap somewhat easier?

I got an S5 chassis cause thats the only thing that was available to me at the time...i had somewhat of a suspension failure on my S4 T2 a while back which caused me to total the chassis. But here I am now, prepping for the swap. Just wanted to know what to do to it before i pull it.

do everything one piece at a time......... when i did the same thing this past march (swapped 88 t2 everything into a 91 coupe) i tore down the 91 to nothing.... then when it came to the 88, i took everything off one at a time then immediatly either labeled exactly where it went, or put it on the 91 at the time i took it off..... trust me, there is alot of wiring, so make sure you label where that wire came from or which relay goes to what....... if you take the time to do it right...... it should go pretty smoothly........

if you have any problems (i encountered quite a few) just pm me and ill be happy to help

yeah... if i remember correctly, i had no choice........ plus, i liked the boost guage in the cluster.... although i still dont know how to read it (thats why i got a auto meter guage)..... also... you have to swap in the front piece to the guage cluster (the piece w/ the turn signal switch, wipers...ect....) they are different from s4 to s5...
