Question Premixing With Dry Gas Okay????

I am running a 1988 Mazda RX7 Turbo II. The OMP is disabled and I premix 1oz of oil per 1 gallon of gas (yes, 2 stroke TCW-3 oil) I reside in New England and am wondering if adding DRYGAS will effect the performance of the car???
----------
No, the car is no longer for sale
----------
I plan to finish this project, post pics and turn some heads.

Dry gas is used in the colder parts of the states. It keeps the gas lines from freezing up etc.

i just used some HEET the other day which is the same typr of stuff. Gets rid of water in the gas tank and keeps your gas lines from freezing...it is also supposed to help with starting in the cold. I havent seen any adverse effects as of yet but i only put it in 3 days ago

<Rotary> Would you keep me posted on this and tell me if you notice any adverse effects using the HEET?? Where did you purchase the HEET? I think I've heard of that stuff. I would really appreciate it. I hate to ask you to be the "tester" but since you already dumped it in and seen no effects... what the hell right? Keep me posted. Thanks

Should I get the red bottle? Is it a mix of the two?

so is there any word on if drygas is bad for a rotary? Anybody know?

I've been told that if left sitting for a while, drygas could eat up fuel lines. If that's true, then it could also eat up apex seals.

I could barely start my car this morning, because of lack of fuel, and I'm quite certain that frozen fuel line was the cause. I want to use drygas, but I'm afraid of any adverse affects to a rotary...

I once read that octane boost was bad, used it the other day and it was fine. Also, someone mentioned that dry-gas is fine. Use HEET.

The questionable fact of any solution "eating up fuel lines" would probably be more aimed towards the rubber lines. Since apex seals and the gas tanks that hold the stuff are made of metal, I'd like to think they'd be ok. Not to mention that the apex seals should never be sitting in a puddle of gas.

Question. Let say my tank is at 1/4 left and I just want to put in $10 more dollars to get home from work. Should I be adding OIL each and every time? I also noticed by adding OCTANE BOOSTER the car runs much better and the hesitation @ 3800 is completely gone

I personally think that adding that much oil to your fuel is pretty unneccesary... Are your stock oil injectors working ok? Is your car heavily modded? If it's all stock, I think all the oil you're adding is overkill.

I always add premix, including jerry can emergencies. Figure out how much gas you're adding and then figure out how much premix would go with that. If the premix isn't there, your motor is not getting all of the lubrication that it should. And that's bad.

TC-W3 is designed (IIRC) to not clog injectors. And I ran TC-W3 at 13oz per tankful for almost a year before sending my injectors off to be cleaned and balanced. Not because there was a problem with them; it was a maintainance thing, plus I wanted to see if it did anything for my 3600 stumble (it didn't.)

The shop that did the cleaning didn't say a thing about the injectors being clogged or anything else unusual...

The only mods on my 7 are intake and exhaust. I don't believe that there's any need to be concerned about premix clogging injectors. 16 ounces is a plenty healthy dose, as long as you don't have to breath his exhaust.

lol... Cool. I'm content then with premixing 1 oz per gallon or so. I HAVE NO CATS. STRAIGHT PIPE. I'm installing a K&N air intake this weekend. THE OMP is dead in the water. Does not work.

THat's why I premix 1oz per gallon. I read on a threat with no cats, no OMP to mix 1 oz per gallon and I also add some octane boost to the oil does not dillute the octane gas levels
