Premix and Front cover questions

Well I have a Jspec S5 engine and a S4 TII car. Do I need to swap the front covers if I plan on running premix? Or can I leave the S5 front cover on?

If not what is the trick to holding the flyweel in place while you remove the main pullt bolt? Other than the mazdatrix tool, becuase I knwo you need to make sure the engine is facing up.

If your going to run the stock ECU your ECU will make the car go into "limp-home-mode" which sucks. You need a standalone to remove the MOP on an S5 or just leave it connected.

If you have a S4 TII and are using it's ECU, then I would swap the front cover and mechanical metering oil pump onto the S5 engine. That way, you can run the metering oil system and not have to worry about messing with the S5 electronic pump. As mentioned, this will not work if you are using the S5 ECU.

if you plan on running pre mix just leave it as is and pull off and block the OMP.
