Can you guys even imagine how much time, energy and heartburn has been spent arguing the issue of premix ?? At least as much as "can I run synthetic oil in my RX7" or maybe "my RX7 hesitates at 3800, what is the matter".

then what other filter were u talking about? we're talking about the filtered air LINES, and the only filter used with those is the AIR FILTER. oh i forgot about the magical rainbow filter, and the puppy filter, it makes unicorns fly out the exhaust.
yah and i KNOW that if they arent replaced then the system can fail. again, not indestructible.
I have no idea where that came from. The check valve closes when the pressure in the chamber is greater than the pressure before the throttle (where the air lines are fed from), i.e. during compression. During the intake stroke the pre-throttle pressure is always greater than the pressure in the chamber, so air flows from the TB through the air lines, through the nozzles mixing with the oil, and into the intake runners or chambers. This air will be at high velocity, so it will break up the oil into small droplets

Well, through everyone's argument on the matter, I have learened a lot more information than from just my questions alone. Thank you for your input everyone.
I have deicded to buy an S4 OMP, and completely rebuild the system once I get the time to do it. from then on, I'm looking to run Royal Purple Synthetic with it.
Aaron, once again, provided some of the best input and arguments in the thread, I give a special thanks to him as well, since he is a very valued and credible forum member that certainly "knows his ****"
Alright... end of thread. Archive or close please?

I'm just glad somebody other than me hates premixing. Hehe. I live in Oregon, we can't pump our own gas because apparently, Oregonians are too stupid to do it correctly.... Thanks god I'm Californian. Everytime I got out of my car to put 2-cycle oil in, the pump attendant would ask why I was putting 2-cycle oil in... I'd have to explain it.. EVERY time I saw a new attendant.. It got REALLY irritating. And then there's the mess...
Anyways, good to know it bugs other people too. Thanks Aaron!

As I mentioned earlier, premix works okay for me and is ideal for my application. "BUTTTT", I must add that this is a pleasure vehicle, I drive it twice a week maybe and fill it up twice a month maybe. Now, if it was a daily driver, I am sure premixing would get old real fast!
