premix???

My omp is going(if its not done already). I parked the car last week and havent driven it since. I have to move it a few miles and would like to put some premix in it just to make sure the engine doesnt blow. Whats the ratio? What kind of oil to use(regular 2 cycle)?

use certified premix! i thinks it's 16 ounces with out omp, and 4 to 8 ounces with omp.

i use valvoline 2 cycle from discount auto parts. its $2.somethin for 32 ounces.

i was always told 1/2 oz/gallon if the OMP ISN'T working...
and 1/4oz/gallon if it IS working...just for added peace of mind and lubrication...
