Preliminary polishing pixs, fd stuff
Big thanks to Camel for pointing out the summit sanding kit It only took 3 hours to get this far on both the fd uim and front cover. I've only removed the pits with 80 grit; I've got to go up by hand to 1500grit. Still have to do the 20b tb, elbow, my housings ect ect

I am going to wait until I get my motor back, so I can port match the lim runners to the ported iron runners. Then go ahead and port the rest of the manifolds..

do the 1500 grit thing again except WET and ONLY IN ONE DIRECTION then get some rubbing compound (the stuff you use to polish a new paint job) and rub the ***** down in little circles withan old SOFT rag. it'll look like chrome. no lie.
I must have spent at least 30 to 40 hours on mine. FIrst I started of with a wire wheel that dug bad grooves and I have been removing them by hand since all these grooves are in the hard to reach areas.
I'm getting there and the waterpump neck is done. Shines to the point I can se my face in it. NIce. But I will never undergo this again. To much effort.
