Lets not fight over the price. I am willing to pay close to $500 or so for a TII one or one with a reverse scoop or something like the knightsports one.

This hood looks the best out of all the ones that I've seen here.

about the guys who asked about the frame...

you dont need a frame on a CF hood because the CF is so stiff, so dont worry bout it

I don't have much time to reply right now because I am on my way out to seaside but it will be 5 layer of cf (resin doesn't count as a layer!) And it will not have a frame on the inside because its carbon fiber! the **** is strong You will be able to stand on this hood, and I will have pics to prove so before you knock just wait

I will hook u guys up soon, but for now I gotta hit up spring break!

Later all
Zach

RX-7Impreza,

It's not the weight or stiffness. Some people don't want hinge pins they want to use the OEM frame & OEM hinges to "pop the hood" to check the oil.

Either way though just get some made for us and don't sweat the small stuff like

That Pan Speed hood is awesome, although it looks kinda like the border one. Someone get that, send it my way and I will mold the **** = free hood for u =)

More materials are on the way and if my buddy ever gets off is ****! (*cough Scott! [not registered yet but browses]) I will show u all some pics

there will be spots to mount up the stock hardware (via epoxy) if you do not want to go the hood pin route. I have decided to add a 1/4" foam support to add even more strenth and add more thickness (makes it easier to mount the stock hinges and latch w/o thick spacers) Don't wory tho it only adds ~15-20 ounces to the whole hood

Updates soon

Yeah the project is still a go, I have some supplies now and I am contemplating on making a a diff type of hood, its got a reverse scoop like the border one but its got vents up front too (got the idea from a 3rd gen hood) I don't want to sell any till I know for sure I can keep up with the orders so I want to get a few done first.

I'll keep you all informed
