CA Power Windows Problem

okay like ive had enough of this stupid problem
okay i have an s5 gtu
i changed the doors from a gxl for the power windows
okay
well the green clips that connect between the door and the actual car were rigged
for an alarm
so i took off the alarm
and like welded them back together
but my windows still dont move up or down

i have just recently changed the harness under the dash
but im not sure whats wrong
the problem is these stupid green clips and where they lead =/





i would like some help please

You swapped in a power window harness into the doors...right?

umm

you know what let me look into that
the harness i put in
was only under the dash what connected to the tach, all the clusters
the a/c thats it

There's a harness inside the door as well. That's what the motor, switch, door light, and passenger power lock plugs into.

does it connect to the fuse box aswell
and is it a hassel to change?

No picture of it, and the name? No idea either.

But a question just to clarify what you said in the OP.

Did you swap over the ENTIRE door? Or was it the door panels and the regulator?

By the way, you cannot 'bump' a thread in this section.
