Question Power Window Help

my passenger window has no problem going down. but when i try to put it back up. it stops half way and then i need to help it out a bit for it to close. any one know how to fix this?

i dont know, but my driver side doesn't go up all the way, i had to help it up too, instead of fixing it i bought the driver side window assembly from ebay, didn't switch it out yet, but thats an idea unless other wise

The motors rarely go out... 80% chance you just have to remove the track assembly+motor+etc, clean it out really good with brake-clean..... then re-lube with tube-style lithium grease. Worked for my sunroof stuff... and plenty of people on here have good luck with this method on the windows.. I'll be doing it in the next month or so.

umm i got it for like 40 shipped or something. my driver side window stops like 4 inch away and starts clicking like it wont move, so i dont know if cleaning it would help for me??

Yeah... clicking might be too late for you. The clicking usually means the track or the gear is worn down. You CAN shim it like they do with the sunroof gearboxes... but, thats only a workaround... not a fix.

Clean the switches. They corrode and dont give solid electrical contact.

lol sorry for the mix up with my sn. my GTUs is in hawaii. i just bought a t2 in arizona last week. Im trying to fix some problems with it. i'll put that i have a t2 in my sig. lol
