Power when cold, less when warm.

So, it seems..... like my car pulls really hard when it is just half warmed up, and then when it is really really warm. Like normal operating temp, it seems to be slightly less power. Though, I don't have my cold air box in, so I am thinking that heat from my headers is really heating up my engine bay, so causing a big power drop.

This all seem right? Or could something else be off?

I noticed that when I set my TPS, if I drive my car really really hard for a bit, and then go to set it, the reading slowly changes. Like, I can attach my DMM and watch it, and not touch anything, and within a couple minutes, it starts to change slowly and I don't have to touch anything. So, I am going to try and get the car really really hot and then quickly set it before the TPS starts changing.

I was .19 Ohms off on my last check. And that was when the car had been driven for 1.5 hours straight. When I adjusted that, I could tell that the car didn't bog as much when I got on it.

Maybe it is all in my head... I can't wait to get my MS in. I want to try and switch to a newer TPS.... one of the ones that goes in a circle or something.

Thanks!

So do you have the stock airbox installed?

A lot of it can be from your air filter getting hot air. Another more overlooked issue is your MAT sensor. It sits on the manifold and once the car heats up it no longer registers any accurate readings. The heatsoak from the air and manifold trick the sensor into telling your ECU your air temps are about 130 to 140 degrees. If possible, I would move it to within your cold air box (when you make one) and mount it just after the filter on a plastic pipe.
