Power Steering Q.
Regards to a 91 TII,
1. Does the PS computer under the dash control the PS at different speeds? IE turns easier at low speeds as opposed to high speeds? Right now, I have parking lot control @80mph...it's scary. The FSM seems to think so, just want some more input.
2. Lots of people remove their PS. Do they always remove this too? I don't want to remove PS, don't call me a pansy *** either, I drove my 83 w/no PS for 6 years...I like it.
3. Are all the computers the same for turbo/NA applications? What about difference in series 4+5.
4. Is this something that can be cracked open and serviced, IE soldering? Easier for replacement? No luck so far on even pricing a replacement...I hate the dealerships..
TIA,
Joe

Check the FSM, it's under the steering section (N) on page N26-27. It's under the steering column. If mine turns out to be bad, and yours is a S5 TII, lemme know, i'll send ya some money for it
