power steering
most of them took it out... i havent heard of anyone replacing the pump with an electric one or anything like that, most people get rid of it to cut down on weight / clean up the engine bay... im debating taking the pully off to see what its like.... but i kinda like my power steering
You need to drain it first and then plug off the lines because if there is still fluid in it, it would be even more harder to turn.
I had power steering on my '88 NA but have a manual rack on my '87 TII. I love the road feedback I get from no power steering setup and it feels more precise. My only gripe is parallel parking.
