I just hooked up my system in my rex, its an 86 gxl sport, but i couldn't find the power antenna plug i the front since it had no radio when i cought it and a bunch of weid aftermarket plugs, anyone know how i can take apart the p. antenna to test it?

 

First its a GXL or a Sport, not both... and I could go on all day about "rex" which is a ricer term for a honda CRX

Second: define "system"

Third if this is a thread asking for help wiring the factory power antenna to an aftermarket radio... that subject (as well as how to wire an aftermarket radio into a FC)has been covered a thousand times...

For the basic skinny on it:
Since Mazda uses negitive ground tigger and all aftermarket radios use a positive trigger you would need to wire a relay, to make a aftermarket radio work the stock power antenna.

 

heh, at least you know it will go up and down...
