post race running troubles

I got into a couple of races the other night and everything was cool. Then i took one of the guys in my car club out for a spin to see how my car felt with no exhaust. After getting on it once and stoping at a stop sign the iddle got very weak and started dropping low. Now im having low idle problems after warmup and poping noise in my exhaust(was there before but less) that is occuring more and more. it has plenty 0f power but then it will sometimes hesitate only for a second. My plugs arent fowled, i pulled them and scrubed them but their only 1,000 mi old. i know im running rich b/c of poor gas mielage, rich smell, and dark plugs @ 600mi.... oh yea the o2 sensor is not connected, the connection broke off. Anyway I did a compresion test; couldnt remove the check valve so i held the preasure releif button down. I got 3 even bounce of about 95 psi in the front rotor and about 92-93 in the rear. I think thats good. Ideas would be apreciated, like fuel related maybe?

Sounds like your car is pretty hacked, so start with VACUUM LEAKS. Cause of most of these kinds of problems.
