Post pics of your S4's front bumper

I'm looking for pictures of ya'lls front bumper on your S4, with the grill cut out. what i mean is those little bars (2 or 3" long) running up and down being cut out, while the long horizontal bar in the middle of the 'mouth' still in place. anyone know what i mean? i've seen some people do it on the forum, i'm looking to do it myself, but i'd love to see more pics!

anyone? thanks.

well, i did it today, but i kept the long horizontal bar. i'm not liking the 'open mouth' too much. it turned out well. the main reason i did it is because mine had those 4 pieces of rectangular plastic (with adhesive backing) that were basically blocking the airflow. they were at each end of the grill. i took those out then the small up and down bars, and it looks much cleaner. i'll post some pics soon as its sunny out.

If you have an FMIC, I say cut out the whole front.

Dremel with cutoff wheel.
yup. i also used a hacksaw blade for the tight spots, and the circular sandpaper bit on the dremel. turned out very nice, gotta paint the few spots and it'll be set.

The TII in my sig is "blacked out", (you get the idea) but soon to be cut out. I remember some guy posted a pic that looked EXCEPTIONALLY nice with the horizontal and vertical peices cut out.

Maybe if you only drive it on rare occassions, personally I would like to protect my FMIC from debris. I don't see any likely noticable cooling gains from doing this. All I see is something large possibly damaging my intercooler, and I don't like that.

fianlly got around to posting a few pics - it came out pretty good. i left in the middle bar, i don't like the open mouth treatment on S4 bumpers, but S5 bumpers are a different story.
