Could someone post a pic of the brake booster line on a TII and a knock control box as well. I'm going to the junk yard today and i'm not 100% sure what i'm looking for. Thanks

the brake booster line is just a vacuum hose. Stock it has a steel center section but I don't think it is necessary. You should be able to run a straight piece of hose from the manifold to the booster without the steel section.

I know 89-91 NAs have the check valve already there. I'm not sure about the 86-88s, but I'm pretty sure they have them as well. A lot of manufacturers started using check valves in the brake booster line to save the brake booster from a nasty backfire through the intake.
Basically under boost, the valve closes and your booster has the residual vacuum in it to assist the brakes. Same thing if you turn the car off and pump the brakes a few times. The first few pumps will feel normal, then it will gradually become rock solid and hard to push the pedal down.
As far as the knock control box, on 87-88s it's right next to the ECU (just to the left) and on 89-91 cars, it's built into the ECU.
