Post major overhaul troubles

Well I got my car started for the first time in a month tonight. It was down for a new intake manifold gasket, 89-91 turbo and manifold, Racing Beat aluminum flywheel, ACT SS disc and extreme plate, and a few other things as well.
Now thats its all back together I go to start it tonight and she fires right up after I pulled the EGI fuses to pre lube the engine. It started to run but then died. Then after another try it floods so I pull the plugs, blow them dry with the airgun, blow some air into the plug holes, inject a bit of oil in the plug holes then spin it over a bit.
Attempt 2 it starts and I hold the gas down a bit to keep it running but it suddenly gets rough and starts filling the garage with the grey smoke of unburnt gas.
So I have no idea what it could be, vacuum line? I had the injectors off as well so perhaps something there.
Any insight would be appreciated as always

Thanks,
Geoff

hmm.. when it WASN'T running for a month. That may be just normal cuz 7s that don't run for awhile may blow some smoke just to burn out the gas. As long as the smoke stops in a few mins then its fine. Does your car run okay? Does it still smoke? Idle rough? Otherwise I think its just getting used to running again.

No, it acts like the plugs are fouled...except even when you rev it a bit it doesnt clear.

Pull the intercooler and the intake and check the injectors for proper installation. Especially the primaries since that is a cluttered area and the injectors seals may be askew. Also look for things trapped under the intake mating point. Check for the brake booster vac line being on, the vac hose on front and back of the throtle body. Like the man said *it could be a lot of things*. Even plug wires crossed on the trail plugs.
