I have no tickets...

I've actually been pulled over at 115 on the freeway, and the officer didn't do anything. I lucked out because two guys walked up to him and turned themselves in for something. I guess arresting them was more important than giving me a ticket, so he let me go. I was really confused that day.

I have been lucky enough to only have 1 speeding ticket so far. (71 in a 55). In my moms suburban. I also have gotten a careless driving and a passing on the shoulder on the same day (not on the same stop) while in Panama City on Spring Break. That was in my 87 pontiac 6000. (Didnt think the Rx-7 would make it that far). So 8 points total in almost 1 year of driving.

As of now my record is clean. When I got my first rx7 in '93 (it was an 84 GSL-SE), between that an the car before it, I acquired 26 tickets in a little less than a year. By the time I recieved all my suspensions and fines, It cost me over $4k, 15 days in jail, and loss of my license. I was 17 at the time and didnt get my license back until I was almost 21. Im 25 now and have only been able to get insurance again in the last year. Needless to say, I am a much more cautious driver now...driving for nearly 4 years with no license will do that to you!

26 tickets in 12 years of driving. 25 of those were in my FC. In the last three years? 4. I guess I'm slowing down in my old age?

My grand total on fines? $4790. Give or take a dollar or two for postage. If you include court costs? Add another couple hundred...

My only advice? Never try to evade the police! Long story...

hmm....only one moving violation, lots of parking tickets. I was on highway 101 at like 9pm one night. Clear, open, fairly straight roads. What does that tell me, i have to do 120+ I was cautious though, slowed at any sight of a car, and when i got close enough, i looked to see if it was a crown vic (as they are the prefferred highway patrol cars here) So then i come up to a big group of people, and have to divert my attention from the cars around me to the cars immediately in front of me. Changing lanes like a mad man, i had slowed to 85mph and got stuck behind someone in the fast lane. Then i look up, and see them damn undercover lights flashing in the mirror of a car behind me. Pulled over, but the cop was cool, wrote it for 70mph. It was only 77bucks. Phef, i lucked out that he didnt catch me doing over 100, as it is a felony in california, and the cops here are real ****, so i guess i got one on a good night. So yeah, onyl one speeding ticket

-Written warning for 54 in a 45
-Verbal warning for not having my headlamps on. I had just come out of a parking lot and drove half a block!
