Possibly retarded question about air pump

What would happen if I were to connect the air pump outlet to the air intake? I know it sounds dumb but I'm just curious. Would it act as forced induction? I know it's a very small amount of air compared to a turbo charger but eh I'm bored and I think of stupid things when I'm bored.

not enough cfms to make a difference. You could look for a eaton m90 supercharger that will make some power. They were on mercury cougar xr7s

The volume of air is way too small to do anything. Trust me. This idea has been floated on this forum before. I remember one guy who just would not accept that it would do squat and before you knew it, people were calling him names. Not nice names. Bad insulting names. Be careful. Use an aliias when inquiring about that subject.

I'll do a search and see if I can recall some of those old threads.

Here's one: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hlight=airpump

Another: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...p+supercharger

This thread is what we call *A little dandy*: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...p+supercharger

This one is a real doozy: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...p+supercharger

Buy a Turbo-Zet! Now there's real power. humor

I'll stop now.

Eh I was just curious. I know it won't create boost I was just wondering maybe route it inside the air box to maybe spray a bit more air into it and help it breath a bit. I was thinking maybe a 1-2 horsepower gain tops...

Won't help anything. You won't gain even .10 HP. Go study automotive induction.
