i have a 91 na, trying to put a air cone i bought on it. i open it up and pull the box out to notice, that maf sensor isnt the same as the one in my 87. its cone shaped not a big block. so my question is... how the hell do i rig the cone up to these? please let me know i gotta get my car up and runnin by the end of today. thanks

 

This is how I did mine. I have a mini-filter on the air pump too for ***** and giggles.



P.S. I know it has no cold air source.

 

ok now i did the same.. now i have the next question how do you go about making a bracket for this thing? it just wobbles around, the 87 was e-z....also im just wondering as it is now, with no box or anything. which would be better this cone or the stock box? i think thats largely debated but always has me thinkin

 

I just used a ziptie as you can see.

As for the debate over stock and cone, the stock setup is really restrictive, but you should setup a box or something and lower the temps of the air thats going into the filter. Leaving it like it is wont help you out much.
