the best way to check is to look under the front of the car...

**** that car has been everywhere NJ, to Virginia, to Cally and then Alaska? Damn talk about a touring car.

If the car drives starigh and hasnt got any problems, screw it....On a car that is fixed properly, you wont be able to tell EASILY...

What if it was hit in the side or the rear?

Sometimes cars are totaled and damage doesnt involve the frame... I fixed a 99 Dodge Avenger (got it for 1700) and all it needed was a front bumper, hood, door and rear quarter. The girl fell asleep and side swiped a guard rail. Never even touch the frame...

Well anyways I gave it to my neice for her 16th, id imagine Ill see it again

The whole reason im asking about frame damage is because when i drive the car and get to about 65mph and up the back end sways back and forth a little bit its not to bad at 65mph but the faster i get going the worse it gets so is the result of frame damage or do i need new springs or something?

Heres the story on the reconstruct title that the prevous owner told me about. He said to me that the cars top was destroyed the seats were stolen out of it and they broke into the hood to steal a battery, i dont know why they would need to break into the hood when they could of just pulled the latch from inside the car but i do see where they pried the hood open so i beleive that part of the story. the previous owner claims that the car has never been in a wreak just that the damage of everything was so much that they put a salvage title on the car. the guy did have reciepts for fixing the convertible top and for the used seats he bought the car so i do believe his story however that still doesnt mean this car hasnt been in a wreak.

hey you guys, keep in mind not everything will show up in a carfax!! If the frame is bent, and the carfax shows no major accidents, the frame is still bent! The only way to get a good, accident free car is to be smart and go over the car very very closely. Dont rely on carfax.
