Is it possible to...

bore out a rotary engine?

i dont know much about rotary engines i just got my first car 1990 2nd gen RX7
and its a working in progress but i want to know the limits on what i can do to my engine.

and tips will helps!

Damn ted, your always straight to the point. But seriously no, you cant up the displacement by buying bigger rotors,there no such thing. Also if you understood enough about the speical plating on the housing you would know this would be very difficult to achive for minimal power increase. This is why they make the 3 rotor. (20b engine) -

They're right, it would be like, instead of giving your car bigger pistons and cylinders, you just add more. So like from a 6 cylinder to an 8 cylinder and so on. Except there is a HUGE difference between a 2 rotor and a 3 rotor depending on mods. (Price and performancewise)

u want more power go to that top bar there and do a search on "porting" or the best way to get power out of an n/a is to put a turbo motor in it
