I want to have an exhaust shop change a drivers side exit to a pasenger side exit. Could they do this easily?

Couldn't they just swap the pipes around and cut the hangers off and weld them on the other side? Might have to cut the muffler and weld it a little differently too.

yeah, but that might be more expensive, than just building a new pipe.

Hm, maybe I won't do this. Guess I'll get an estimate first. Its SS, so if they have to make a new pipe it will be pretty expensive more than likely. Wish companies made all catbacks exit the passenger side; like 1st and 3rd gens did.

Most of the Japanese made ones come out the right side (the drivers side in Japan).

I'm probably going to just end up living with it on the drivers side. Its cheap, SS, and full 3".

Yeah, I just bought one for my 'vert that runs out the drivers side. Cost was one third of a decent dual set.

As much as I really wanted duals, I just didn't want to spend the money right now. A new second set of skis, replacement snowboard and Christmas is more important.

You would never notice the miniscule difference in weight distribution anyway.

I doubt I would either. But looks-wise I just prefer the passenger side exit for some reason. But I think I'll live with the drivers side until I get another exhaust system.
