Ports stuck? how to check/fix??
Hey guys. I must say tht the search feature on this sight isn't that great. Everytime i try it just sits there and does nothing for 5 minutes.
Anyway.. 1990 gtu 13b na
Tops at 110mph. i've heard that its the 5th and sixth ports?? can anyone help me out and point me to a site or even a write up that discusses how to check and clean/fix these ports??? it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

I was able to free mine up without pulling the manifold but I bent one of the shafts and also flooded my motor with carb cleaner.

I believe you just put white grease on the actuating rods. Then drive at high reves. If the grease gets smeared or removed, your ports are working. Be sure to remove grease or it'll attract dirt which may make your ports stick.
